If their is one anti hero in the Wild West who will appeal to us all it must be Zacharius Fischer, a bad shot with an overload of courage, stamina ,humour and full of good will, most of the time, a 'mensch' who’s able to persuade his opponents from the fact he is not a person to mess with even though still many people do.
 

In this story, ‘The Gold of Quantrill’, the office of homeland security in Washington DC gives Fischer the task to find out where the treasure of the Confederate rebel Quantrill is hidden.
 

In his quest Marshal Fischer ends op in Kansas and Northern Texas where he has to deal with the most vicious criminals imaginable, survive the dangers of the mid west and not at least the treat of being killed by the ruthless warriors of the Northern Comanches from the ban leader Quanah Parker who developed himself from a promising university student into a specialist of killing white folk and sometimes Jewish Marshalls too.
