an Endless World of Adventures.

The Kids of Castle Rock is an inspirational series of stories in the fashion of Swedish Children's books like 'Vi på Saltkråkan and Pippi Langstrumpf'.
Two cool girls , Emma (11) and Sarah (8) and two tough boys, Liam (11) and Sam (5) live in a little town close to the Ocean and near a big Rock formation that lies just a 100 feet away from the Beach and which is only accessable during low tide... 'Castle Rock'.
Robert Plante is the Spiritual Father of the 'Kids of Castle Rock'.
The story reminds him of the adventures he experienced himself in the neighbourhoods where he always played with his close friends and where he turned his 'free from school' Wednesday afternoons into a World of Imagination.
It didn't matter where he lived. Among concrete towering 70's flats or dark dirty pre WW2 working class neighbourhoods...There was always an opportunity to live his life full of Fantasy.
The story
All four children celebrate their limitless imagination every time when they set foot on this big green rock of opportunity.
Everytime, 'Castle Rock' represents a different phenomenon. One day it appears to be a big Pirate ship in search of a hidden treasure, the next day it's a Space Rocket under threat of aliens and comet bombardments. Sometimes it offers the setting of the Abyss full of Krakens and Megalodons, or equals it the vibes of a Stadium full of fans ready to enjoy a game of soccer.
Whatever it appears to be, Castle Rock always offers the center stage for the imagination of these four wonderful little characters. For friends sharing each others adventures, alternate realities that they themselves can switch of and on in a snip of second.
Realty, Fantasy, Reality, Fantasy, Reality....

Kids of Castle Rock was created from Robert's love for do drawing large drawings on sheets of paper, and slowly but surely a story emerged.
