The French Commanders of the Battle of Waterloo
On June 18th, 1815, one of the most fateful battles in history was fought. The Duke of Wellington, tasked with stopping the 'monster of Europe', posed atop a hill to stop Napoleon Bonaparte from his march to Brussels. The battle lasted all day, leaving Napoleon's new empire behind him. This poster depicts the Marshals and Generals Napoleon had upon this faithful day, a group of people he blamed all too well.
